Focused on developing healthy, sustainable technique and lifelong love of music
Inclusive of all learners, including neurodiverse students, adult beginners, and others
Taught in my private home studio, equipped with a Yamaha GC1 Baby Grand Piano, centrally located in Downtown Jersey City near Hamilton Park, or in your home (travel rate applies)

About Catherine:
Bachelors of Music, Choral Music Education, Piano Principal Focus, Voice Secondary focus, from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance
MTNA, MEA NJ, and NJMEA Member
Specialized focus and experience working with neurodiverse students, including those on the autism spectrum in the classroom and private music instruction settings
Piano training in the Taubman Technique with Sandra Tammam (Montclair State University)
Voice training in Bel Canto and classical voice technique, and modern musical theatre styles; my pedagogical focuses include developing and strengthening the head voice, supporting a balanced “mix” and healthy belt
